This is a step-by-step guide on how to do the work to live authentically and create new and powerful possibilities in your relationships, with your family, friends, colleagues, strangers...

I understand what repentence really feels like for the first time in my life. The possibility of a 'clean slate'.

In Judaism repentence, or the concept of teshuva 'returning to self' is focused at the high holidays as we ask people, god and ourselves for forgiveness so the concept of repentence is not new for me; however, this weekend was the first time I truly understood what it felt like to do it authentically and really start fresh for the possibility of intimate relationships to not be great but to really thrive.

This weekend I participated in the Landmark Forum, a three day examination of self, going on a hunt for blindspots we have to have true self discovery for the purpose of living a life of integrity, an authentic life. The word authentic is thrown around, here it is explained th...

I've never written about my sister's death before, but part of creating a wide open space for you means opening up new considerations and perspectives to offer new possibilities of connection to all aspects of life. Rituals around death and mourning have been powerful connection points for me throughout my grieving process and I want invite you into this conversation today, whether you have experienced loss or not, around a specific ritual.

My grandmother, a matriarch in our community, died almost a year ago. A few weeks ago, friends and family gathered at the cemetery to engage in the Jewish tombstone unveiling ritual which generally takes place within a year of death. This ritual- literally setting the stone down by a grave- is about marking the place where a loved one is buried. The...

*If you are just joining us, stop reading, and check out Day 1- 6 on my blog, for the full experience.*

Wide Open Spaces community, we did it! I am humbled by this experience and grateful to you for jumping in to create this community, it would not be here if it weren't for you, you belong here. I was pushed myself to share my mind, heart and soul with all of you- I did not press publish until I felt vulnerable and challenged. I am changed from this experience, and will continue to strive to serve you with truths, creativity, loving kindness and compassion.

We spent the last 7 days designing from the inside out and whether we know it or not, we helped create space for others in this community to make this experience happen for themselves. I am always impacted by authentic shared experi...

Today we are going to tackle blindspots from a different perspective. Today, is about forgiveness. Forgiveness is a topic that is pertinent to the time of year on the Jewish calendar but not a theme I encounter openly and deeply elsewhere. I have encountered forgiveness on a more superficial level as a child but not as a spiritual practice. Ready? I am not sure I am, it feels edgy writing this, because I have a hard time wrapping my mind around the potential of forgiveness, espeically about forgiving myself, but let's do it!

There are many different relationships that require forgiveness. A lot of times, ego gets in the way. I don't want to admit to someone that they hurt me, hello ego. And, I feel guilty that I hurt someone and I'd rather pretend it didn't happen, hello again, ego. L...

* Today's post is longer because this is a rich topic. I recommend reading through it before jumping in*

Make sure to celebrate with yesterday's prompt before jumping into today's!  Today we are going to meet some of our fears. We are going to introduce ourselves, acknowledge and name a few of them. I will walk you through every step. I, and the 60+ from around the world, are stepping in right here with you. I know it's easy to make excuses not to 'face' our fears, but those are our fears/shame not wanting light to be shined on them. Today, we are shining the light together! Let's go!

One of the major themes of the Jewish holiday of Passover is moving from being enslaved to becoming free. Yes, one of the traditions is telling the story of the Exodus of the Jewish people...

We are halfway through our challenge, you have stepped out of your comfort zone, listening and sharing honestly with yourself and that is brave, and takes courage. The effort you are putting into this experience deserves to be celebrated!

Three years ago, my friend and I were both going through big transitions in our lives and were struggling to find hope. We decided to adapt a gratitude ritual we had instituted on our Birthright trips and since then, three years later, we both wake up and the first thing we do every morning is email each other three moments of gratitude. This lens has shifted the way I experience life. I know that sounds huge, that's because it is. I live my life through a lens of gratitude. I noticed, and still do, that I focus on the negative before the positive. Someone...

Day 3, let's do this wide open space community! You are on Day 3 with 60+ people from around the world. Channel the energy of the community around you that is taking time to play, explore and reflect alongside you. And, I am the first to name myself your cheerleader, here to empower you to create what's possible for you.

Recap. The main ingredients to channel for this 7 day experience:

Play: Smile, laugh at yourself, be messy, and open to the possibility in your life. One way to be messy and play is with the post-its: Use color, different shapes, move the post-its around, sketch, use your creativity because this is also about having fun as we learn about ourselves!

Honesty with self: Bringing internal awareness to your choices and feelings. This is the first step to sustainable cha...

This is your experience. You get to make it yours. You can read about today's theme right here or scroll down to get straight to the reflection for today.

Well, today, is all about getting curious! When I think about the concept of curiosity I think about children and their discovery mode- it's powerful to watch!  We are born knowing nothing and are curious about EVERYTHING. Growing up we inherit pieces from our parents, our ancestors and our surroundings. Learning habits and patterns: some healthy and some unhealthy. Some of my unhealthy habits are times when I have a fixed mindset, a fear of leaving my comfort zone for a number of reasons (this is so real!), and society dictated norms. These require effort to shake, but I am determined! Do you relate to any of these? Have others to add?...

You're here! Let's start building our storyboard. We are establishing a core piece of our storyboard today. You are the content, so there is no pressure, no right or wrong. Today, we are going to start bringing awareness to our choices.

If you have not read the prep post from last night, please make sure to read it before continuing on.

Today's theme is values. This word can be exciting, daunting and/or grounding for you. Some of you might be thinking that you have no idea what values are or where to start. Don't worry, I got you! I have a pool of values at the end of this post to help get you started. If you know exactly where you are going to go with this, try to bring one deeper layer of awareness to really hone in on your responses. Ask yourself if your responses are...
